Has anyone been able to succefully install the dlc they released? Again, I'm guessing Origin is at fault here, because when I open the Origin client and look at the Extra Content tab, the big dlc packs are still listed with BioWare points (aka I need to buy them). I've saved the Dragon Age II settings through DragonAge2Config.exe, but alas. When I open the game the dlc that I didn't have (Legacy, Mark of the Assassin.) is listed in the same order as the dlc that I already had (Black Emporium), but I'm not able to play it (no statues at Hawke's home). I solved the 'unauthorized dlc' problem, by changing RequiresAuthorization="1" to RequiresAuthorization="0". That said, I've tried everything I could online. I'm guessing it has to do with the fact that I play DA2 through Origin, which I don't have to do with Origins. I've succesfully been able to play all the Origins dlc, but I can't seem to get any of the DA2 dlc to work. I attached a pic of the config thing so you can see what I'm talking about.īioware made the dlc for Origins and DA2 free this year ( ), which made me replay the games again. So, only work through the Origin Games folder in whatever drive you have the game installed.Ĭlick on Dragon Age II in the header (to the right of the File -save report/exit- choice) I can't believe it was as simple as saving my DA II settings in that config.exe thing!! Anyway, my DLC is working now so I'm off to play.hope this helps someone?. Mine shows indented with an * first to separate it from the extras that came with my original game download from Origin. When you start the game, click on the downloadable content and you should see your DLC in the list.

You don't put it in the documents BIOWARE folder. Everything is EA (ergo Origin) you have to work through those paths. If you are using steam version, you would go to the steammaps folder. My location C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age II. Confirm Installation Directory) opens is correct. Just make sure your path when the DLC launcher (i.e. I have a separate download file for ALL downloads so I can virus check them. Didn't realize that was even an option! DLC downloaded first time I tried it.

Then by accident, I tried the DA II config noted here again, but this time I saved the Dragon Age II settings. Kept getting DA II was running or DA II was not installed.
